Resumen
Introduction: Workers' health is the medical discipline that studies the relationship of humans with their environment with a preventive vision and focused on the health damages that interaction with the work environment can cause. In Cuba, the National Institute of Workers' Health is the national reference center for this specialty and manages, for scientific dissemination, the Cuban Journal of Health and Work. This publication, indexed in national and international databases and catalogs, has increased its editorial flow during the years 2024 and 2025. Objective: To conduct a comparative study of the publications of the Cuban Journal of Health and Work during the years 2024 and 2025. Methods: Descriptive study. Similarities and differences between the indicators of the editorial process will be established, as well as the frequency of publication and other technical aspects inherent to the Open Journal Systems platform. Results: The number of articles published was slightly higher in 2025; in this same year, the Journal began, within continuous publication, the modality of a volume without division of issues, and the Open Journal Systems platform was migrated to version 3.3.10 of this system. Conclusions: During the years 2024 and 2025, the advancement of the Journal's editorial management continued to be observed. The change in modality within continuous publication and the migration of its platform to a more updated version represent technological progress that should influence the increase of its visibility.
