Resumen
The university environment requires solid research skills, a process in which resilience acts as a determining psychosocial factor. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between resilience and research competencies in business students at a private university in Lima, Peru. A quantitative approach with a non-experimental design was used in a sample of 119 students selected for convenience. The Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) and a validated research competency questionnaire were applied. The findings showed a moderate influence of 57.20% (Nagelkerke coefficient 0.572). It is concluded that resilience facilitates research development by allowing the stress of the thesis process to be managed. This shows the need to integrate socio-emotional strengthening into university methodological training from the first cycles.
