Resumen
Serious games in Project Management are very useful and important because they reinforce the development of professional skills in an interactive and practical way, simulating the reality of a project. SimulTrain, developed by Sauter Training & Simulation (STS), is a simulator of the planning and execution of a medium-sized project and puts into practice knowledge and skills in the field of projects. SimulTrain is developed in three periods, in each of them the team plans, executes and analyzes its decisions, at the end of each period indicators are shown. This game was included in the project subject in 2023. The objective of this research is to analyze and evaluate the relationship between the indicators of costs, schedule, quality, risks and motivation, obtained in the simulator and the grades of the workshops carried out by the same teams in the subject of Projects. The results obtained show correlations ranging from weak to strong between workshop ratings and SimulTrain indicators. In addition, there is a non-uniform variation in indicators across all teams, attributable to the planning and decisions made during the execution of the simulation.
