Resumen
This study explores, through a systematic review, how certain physiological indicators collected using smart wristbands can contribute to predicting occupational accidents. Seventeen studies were analyzed from databases such as Scopus, ScienceDirect, Wiley, and Google Scholar, published between 2020 and 2025, in both Spanish and English. The process was governed by the PRISMA methodology, ensuring a rigorous and structured approach to source selection. The findings reveal that variables such as heart rate, degree of fatigue, and level of physical activity can provide valuable signals about potential risks in the workplace. However, further development is required, particularly regarding validation in real-world settings. This overview highlights the potential of wearable technologies as preventive tools and the urgent need to further explore their application in different productive sectors.
