Reflections from psychoanalysis to today's environmental challenges. About the book Challenges and perspectives of the environmental situation in Peru

Hernández Camarero M. · Revista Kawsaypacha: Sociedad y Medio Ambiente (2023) · DOI: 10.18800/kawsaypacha.202203.r001

Resumen

In relation to the book "Challenges and Perspectives of the Environmental Situation in Peru: in the framework of the commemoration of 200 years of republican life," edited by Augusto Castro and María Isabel Merino Gómez and published by INTE-PUCP, this article presents contributions from various authors who, from a social and psychoanalytic perspective, address the challenges of climate change. Taking up Sally Weintrobe's words, facing climate change is not a technical or scientific problem, it is a human problem, and to address it, it is necessary to take into account individual and community psychological variables.
