Resumen
Quality of life, lifestyle, and physical activity are factors that profoundly impact the overall well-being of university students, affecting both their physical and mental health. The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between quality of life, lifestyles, and physical activity in a sample of university students from the Peruvian Amazon. It was used a quantitative approach with a correlational cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 174 students of both sexes who completed the SF-36 Health Questionnaire, the Healthy Lifestyle Questionnaire (CEVS), and the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ), all of which have adequate metric properties. Preliminary results indicate that quality of life was rated as average, lifestyles were unhealthy, and the level of physical activity was moderate. Furthermore, the quality of life variable was found to be directly and significantly correlated with both lifestyle (rs = 0.310) and physical activity (rs = 0.171). Additionally, the lifestyle variable was also directly and significantly correlated with physical activity (rs = 0.381). It was concluded that there is a significant relationship between quality of life, lifestyles, and physical activity in a sample of university students from the Peruvian Amazon. © Copyright: Federación Española de Asociaciones de Docentes de Educación Física (FEADEF)
