Resumen
The research aimed to know the psychometric properties of the Inventory of distorted thoughts about women and the use of violence (revised version) in adolescents from the department of Amazonas-Peru, in a sample of 1063 high school students from five schools (three provinces). The inventory items were subjected to evaluation by the judgment of 10 experts, achieving content validity >0.90, using Aiken's V. For the confirmatory factor analysis, three models were tested, with the third (unifactorial and 12 items) being the one that yielded adequate values after the analysis with the estimator WLSMV, obtaining CFI ≥ 0.95, RMSEA ≤ 0.05 and PNFI>0.75, indicating adequate fit and parsimony. Regarding the analysis of factor loadings, the items managed to exceed the minimum required (λ>0.3) to guarantee their representativeness. Reliability was achieved with McDonald's omega, with an index of 0.68 at a general level. Percentiles were established according to sex, since no residual factorial invariance was found because the RMSEA and CFI values were outside the acceptable ranges.
