Mostacero León J.; Yabar Mostacero H.; López Medina S.E.; De La Cruz Castillo A.J.; Gil Rivero A.E.; Villena Zapata L.I. · Medicina Naturista (2023)

Resumen

This research aimed to establish to what extent the population continues to use the protocol of: “purging”, “reducing inflammation”, “strengthening” and “treating” diseases with medicinal plants in the North of Peru. 384 surveys were applied during botanical explorations to various locations in the northern departments of Peru. The information collected and analyzed, with descriptive and inferential statistics, allowed the preparation of tables and figures as results. It is concluded that there is a strong tendency to abandon the use of the complete protocol, since only 7.6% of the population makes use of the 4 steps mentioned above, achieving greater effectiveness.
