Guevara F.M.A.A.; Martínez A.M.R.; Peralta E.C.O.; Azcárate L.A.D. · Encuentros (Maracaibo) (2022) · DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.6551193

Resumen

The 21st century has been marked by important technological advances, particularly in the development of human activities in virtual environments facilitated by the Internet, so that the daily routine of the person and that of children is characterized by the expression and constant interaction with the information and communication media, facilitated by electronic equipment with access to the large virtual platform. However, this access must be mediated and supervised, in order to provide a safe space for children, without undermining their right to information, recreation, education and communication. In this context, the rights of children must be protected, respected and guaranteed, finding the right balance that allows them to access the benefits of the virtual environment, without generating violation of the rights of security and protection of their physical, psychological and emotional integrity.
