Proposal to increase efficiency in the weaving area of a Textile SME using SMED 4.0, E-Kanban and TPM (Pillar VI)

Resumen

The study will be conducted in a textile SME dedicated to the production of cotton stockings, where problems such as long preparation times, material shortages, and limited training in basic maintenance were identified. Indicators such as efficiency, setup, lead time, and availability will be used to analyze these gaps. The proposed improvement approach is to implement tools such as SMED 4.0, E-Kanban, and TPM (Pillar VI). Based on the literature review, an efficiency target of 96.40% is established.
