Resumen
The objective of this research was to determine the impact of the production planning proposal by linear programming on productivity in an agricultural company, intervening directly in the area of hay production planning. Thus, the work included a reorganization of the hay production planning with the objective of covering the nutritional demand of the herd and maintaining an average production of 20 liters/(cow*day). To help with this purpose, engineering tools such as linear programming, Gantt chart and material requirements planning (MRP) were used, thereby achieving annual savings of S/ 30,866 in hay production costs, increasing milk production and Attention to unsatisfied demand increased from 11.39% to 16.61% in the first year of execution of the proposal with a monetary increase of S/ 82,368.00 soles annually. Finally, the financial economic viability was determined, evidenced by the NPV, IRR, B/C and PIR indicators, where S/ 341,011.99, 156%, S/ 1.21 and 1.02 years of investment recovery were obtained, respectively with bank financing of S/ / 105,000.00, which indicates that the improvement proposal was viable, feasible and profitable. © CISCI - Simposium Iberoamericano en Educacion, Cibernetica e Informatica 2024.
