Resumen
This proposal aims to create a bioinformatics data management platform tailored for analysing satellite images, drone images, and ground sensor data, focusing on addressing public health challenges. The outcomes will be instrumental in preventing and managing spatiotemporal phenomena, particularly epidemics, within Latin America. The proposed platform is structured into three key components: (1) the establishment and administration of a repository for historical satellite images and the extraction of relevant climatic data; (2) the standardisation of spatiotemporal tools to assess epidemiological risk factors, incorporating statistical analyses utilising drone imagery and ground sensor data; and (3) the development of both deterministic and probabilistic models for simulating disease transmission based on the data as mentioned earlier parameters.
