Resumen
This study examined the relationship between self-efficacy and learning success in the context of the Community of Inquiry (CDI) to assess the quality of online learning of 115 university professors from a School of Education and Humanities at a university in the Peruvian Amazon. Through a quantitative investigation with a non-experimental cross-sectional design, a significant relationship was found between the quality of online learning and teacher self-efficacy (p < 0.05), in which the perception of learning success partially mediated this relationship. The results revealed that teachers who participated in an online DPLP program had a greater sense of efficacy. It is concluded that Professional Learning Communities are important for the development of self-efficacy, academic success of teachers and for the assessment of the quality of online learning.
