Resumen
Seven green asparagus cultivars were planted in Supe, Peruvian central coast 170 km north of Lima. Cultivars evaluated were UC 157 F1 , UC 115 F1 , Espada F1 , Sequoia , Atticus , Verdus and Bejo 3023 . All were transplanted on December 22, 2019, in rows separated 1.80 m and between plants 0.21 m. First harvest was on November 11, 2020, second harvest on May 26, 2021, and third harvest took place on October 31, 2021. Yield increased in each harvest. First harvest took 9 days, the second was on 18 days and the third one took 32 days. Average yield of the experiment was in the first harvest 1.64 t ha-1, in the second harvest 2.04 t ha-1 and in the third harvest 5.69 t ha-1. Yield of each cultivar in each harvest is shown. Verdus showed the highest yield in the third harvest with 8.99 t ha-1 and the lowest was obtained with Sequoia with 5.81 t ha-1.
