Resumen
Throughout the years, humans have used paint as a resource to protect and beautify buildings, of course if we talk about paint as a building material, being a substance that can affect the environment and harm people's health due to the strong odor it emanates. The objective of the research was to design a sustainable paint based on dairy products to be used in masonry and wood walls in the city of Cajamarca-Peru, 2023. According to its purpose, the research is applied and has a quantitative approach. The population for the research was finite, made up of a house with an unpainted wall of 48cm x 24cm x 9cm and wood of 210 cm x 6cm x 6cm. It is proposed to use tests to verify the quality of the paint, among these to verify its resistance to adhesion, resistance to scratching, determination of drying, resistance to water and coverage over time. From this, it is concluded that the paint made with cow's milk is the most beneficial in terms of finishing masonry walls. This is since it achieves the same result obtained when using paint for conventional walls. It is also known that this product is not harmful to living beings and does not even have an odor that harms the environment, taking advantage of every resource by reusing it.
