Resumen
INTRODUCTION. Teaching scientific research in the first cycle of university studies requires a structured approach that develops critical thinking rather than instrumental skills (1,2). OBJECTIVE. To preliminarily evaluate, through a controlled simulation of the Delphi method with artificial intelligence, the structure and coherence of a university syllabus oriented towards the development of research competencies in nursing students. METHODOLOGY. An exploratory qualitative study that modeled a curriculum validation process using a simulated panel of 20 theoretically constructed expert profiles. ChatGPT-4o was used to conduct two rounds of evaluation based on six curricular criteria. RESULTS. The first round identified strengths in relevance (4.45/5) and currency (4.45/5), as well as weaknesses in feasibility (3.75/5). After incorporating structural and methodological improvements, the second round showed significant increases in all criteria, particularly in currency (4.80/5), relevance (4.75/5), and pedagogical innovation (4.65/5). A Spearman correlation of rho=0.89 (p<0.05) was obtained between rounds, indicating consistency in evaluative convergence. CONCLUSIONS. The Delphi simulation with AI is a valuable tool for the preliminary evaluation of curriculum designs, enabling the identification of areas for improvement prior to empirical validation. The evaluated syllabus presents a coherent structure that integrates epistemological foundations, ethical principles, and contemporary methodological tools.
