Predictive LQR Control of MIMO Time-Delay Processes Possessing Output Disturbances

Rojas-Moreno A. · Proceedings of the 2020 IEEE 27th International Conference on Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computing, INTERCON 2020 (2020) · DOI: 10.1109/intercon50315.2020.9220201

Resumen

An approach to control continuous-time MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) time-delay processes subject to multiple output disturbances is developed in this paper. A LQR (Linear Quadratic Regulator) predictive controller in the discrete-time domain is designed for such a purpose. To validate such an approach, the LQR predictive controller was applied successfully to MIMO time-delay processes exhibiting stable, unstable, integrating, large, and non-minimum phase modes. The output disturbances were selected arbitrarily.
