The aim of this review helping the pediatrician guidance in their recognition. Gonadotropin-dependent Central Precocious Puberty is caused by premature reactivation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis. Its early recognition allows us to avoid the consequences of the condition with timely installation of treatment. For its detection, pediatricians are recommended to include in health checks an evaluation of pubertal development according to Tanner stages and evaluate growth in the height/ age graph according to national references or standards. In case of clinical suspicion, the evaluation may include bone age and add gynecological ultrasound in girls. The Pediatrie Endocrinologist will complete the evaluation based on hormonal studies for differential diagnosis.
