Resumen

The objective was to understand the perceptions about the teaching of Physical Education (PE) from the territorial perspective and the accompaniment of the student in formative processes of the new normal, according to PE teachers with a master's degree in sports sciences at the National University of Altiplano, Puno-Peru, who work for the State in various territorial areas. A qualitative-hermeneutic study, with an inductive procedure that used discussion techniques, in-depth interviews, content analysis, inferential abduction process, and consensus validity. The results show that the meanings given to pedagogical work are related to the perception of teacher self-efficacy to direct the teaching-learning processes, causing PE to become an increasingly instructional, non-interactive formative process, however; PE teachers in the context of the new normal have incorporated innovative alternatives for teaching action, venturing into the territories to find out where and how students live and go to “meet” them to assist and accompany them, with the key being the way in which PE “is done”, beyond theoretical-pedagogical knowledge, generating spaces for participation-dialogue with other actors and being able to co-act in the construction of new teaching-learning processes. It is concluded that teaching PE from a territorial perspective and accompanying the student can be considered as an approach to action focused on actors, where the way of “doing things” together with others matters, according to previously excluded contexts-territories, to co-generate knowledge and develop capacities based on dialogue, participation and recognition of the other (knowledge, practices and experiences).
