Acevedo Borrego A.O.; Linares Barrantes M.C.; Alvarez Díaz E.O.; Garcia Zapata T.D. · CISCI - Conferencia Iberoamericana en Sistemas, Cibernetica e Informatica (2024) · DOI: 10.54808/cisci2024.01.402

Resumen

In the global context, characterized by globalization, emergence of the quaternary sector of innovation and information technologies, uncertainty and accelerated change, coupled with the growing complexity of organizations, professionals need to develop new management skills, soft direction and innovative creative skills, which allow you to identify the sources of creativity focused on research and innovation. The objective of the present study is to identify the sources of creativity in organizations from the perspective of sociotechnical systems and the way in which they influence the creation and design of products. The study is exploratory and descriptive and the study is carried out on a sample of industrial engineering graduates. The results show that engineers are more oriented towards a social perspective in their creative process, and they also use divergent techniques to describe and pose highly complex problems, considering new knowledge schemes and new tools, to formulate creative proposals. The study differentiates the components of the technical system and the social system, emphasizing the soft side of creativity. In the discussions, it is suggested that organizations in turbulent environments require new tools, more heuristic and less systematic. © CISCI - Simposium Iberoamericano en Educacion, Cibernetica e Informatica 2024.
