Performance standardization in sanitation projects in the province of Cañete, Peru

Resumen

The purpose of this article was to obtain the yields and their incidence factors in sanitation projects for the province of Cañete, Peru, since there is a great variation in the yields used by consulting firms in the country, due to the fact that these values are not updated or standardized for the preparation of budgets in public sanitation works. In situ data were collected on the progress of the most important items for a given period, based on which productivity ratios were determined for subsequent statistical analysis using Student's t-distribution with 95% confidence. As a result of the study, a significant variability was observed between the yields calculated and used in the technical files; therefore, yield ranges were determined and proposed according to the crews considered for the items in sanitation works in the province of Cañete.
