Resumen
The present study aimed to determine the perception of the inclusive approach in teacher training of early childhood education students, in order to identify strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement in academic programs. The research was descriptive and had the participation of 241 students from the VI to the X cycle. The instrument used was the Questionnaire on the Perception of the Inclusive Approach in Teacher Training, prepared by Che León (2025), which measures three dimensions: understanding of individual needs, use of diversified resources and inclusive pedagogical interaction. It was determined that the VII cycle reported the highest percentage of high perception (87.1%), while the X cycle reflected a more critical view, with 40% at the intermediate level, which suggests tensions between theory and professional practice. In conclusion, the study's findings demonstrate progress in incorporating an inclusive approach into teacher training, but also highlight the need to strengthen training practices, the use of diverse materials, the effective use of resources, and critical reflection in real-life contexts to consolidate more equitable and diversity-sensitive education.
