Resumen
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the acquisition of digital skills was decisive for the development of class sessions and for achieving significant learning, which is why the objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the digital skills of the teachers perceived by students and academic performance. The design was non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational. The sample was 173 university students. The instrument used was a measurement scale and the 2022-II grade register. The Mann-Whitney U demonstrated a statistically significant difference between the assessment of teachers’ digital competencies perceived by students in the Science and Literature areas. It was also determined that there is a direct and positive relationship between both variables, with a medium effect size. Finally, it is concluded that the digital competencies of teachers perceived by students are related to academic performance.
