Organizational culture, job satisfaction, and employer branding in financial performance

Alexandra S.-M.N.; Tatiana P.-N. · Revista Venezolana de Gerencia (2026) · DOI: 10.52080/rvgluz.31.114.14

Resumen

In a highly competitive environment, this research analyzes how organizational culture, job satisfaction, and employer branding influence the financial performance of Peruvian companies. The overall objective is to understand how the strategic management of these factors strengthens internal well-being, profitability, and corporate reputation. The study adopted a quantitative, explanatory approach with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design. The sample consisted of 405 managers, supervisors, and leaders from various economic sectors, selected through random sampling for infinite populations. Validated instruments were used: the Warr, Cook, and Wall questionnaire for job satisfaction; the Cameron and Quinn instrument for organizational culture; an adapted scale of financial indicators; and the Gelard questionnaire for employer branding. The statistical analysis included internal consistency validation, data reduction, and structural modeling to test five hypotheses. The results confirmed that organizational culture and job satisfaction positively impact financial performance, and that this, in turn, directly and indirectly influences employer branding. It is concluded that aligning culture, well-being, and financial strategy generates sustainable competitive advantages, increases profitability, and projects an attractive corporate image, providing relevant empirical evidence for management in Latin American contexts.
