Resumen
Quality education has been outlined as a topic of global interest through the fourth sustianable developmen goal, whisch seeks to promote inclusive lifelong learning; its achievement requires integrated efforts of the educational institutions staff. This cross-sectional predictive research analyzes the predictors that improve the job performance of the university educational quality manager. We worked with a sample of 217 full-time teaching and administrative workers from a private Peruvian university. The instruments were the Positive Organizational Behavior Scale and the Quality Management Performance Scale. The results obtained with multinomial logistic regression analysis, showed a statistically significant effct on five of the eight predictors. Positive Beta coefficients were obtained for meaningful work (β = 1.66), horizontal collectivism (β = 1.16) and self-efficacy (β = 1.10) and negative ones for dispositional optimism (β =-1.63) and synergy (β =-1.56). It is concluded that job performance in quality management will improve if the first three predictors are strengthened and the last two are reduced in university professors and administrators in Peru.
