Resumen
This study assesses the technical feasibility of integrating solar tracking systems into grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) installations for industrial applications in the Piura region, aiming to enhance energy production. Through simulations conducted using PVsyst software, the analysis compares the performance of fixed-tilt structures with various solar tracker configurations. Key parameters evaluated include module tilt and azimuth angles, inter-row spacing, overall PV system efficiency, and tracker performance. The research focuses on optimizing energy yield while considering both economic profitability and the environmental impact associated with the industrial client's operations. It provides a comprehensive framework for selecting the most suitable PV system configuration based on local solar resource availability, regional market conditions for PV equipment, and the specific energy demands of the end user. By identifying the optimal balance between technical performance, economic return, and environmental sustainability, this work supports informed decision-making for the deployment of clean energy technologies in the industrial sector.
