Resumen
This study focuses on analyzing the performance of the Dielectric Lens Slotted Antipodal Vivaldi Antenna (DLSAVA) for brain anomaly detection systems. A detailed study of its design, fabrication, and experimental validation is presented, using phantoms that replicate the properties of the human brain. The results demonstrate the optimal performance of the DLSAVA antenna, achieving a wide operational bandwidth (3.2 to 20 GHz), high directivity (maximum gain of 11.8 dBi), and compact dimensions (4.5 × 5,8 cm). The slot geometry, dielectric lens parameters, and exponential taper are highlighted, as their optimization enables maximizing resolution and sensitivity in brain anomaly detection. Future work will explore the integration of DL-SAVA into advanced sensing systems such as ISAC and 6G-enabled healthcare technologies.
