Resumen
The research objective was to determine how the performance of public officials is managed by the human resources department as part of their municipal public administration. An applied study was conducted to identify individual and group grievances, without addressing external or environmental conditions. The population consisted of a sample of 184 technical and administrative workers, selected according to inclusion criteria. The study found that 62.5% of the evaluated employees had a performance rating of "fair," 21.9% had a high performance rating, and 15.6% had a low performance rating. Regarding indicators related to municipal management, 68.8% of the employees performed above the "fair" level; 25% above the "high" level; and only 6.3% below the "low" level. The statistical analysis showed that both variables are related and identified, as they present a Wald statistical value of 26.344 and a significance value of 0.000. The significance value showed that, as a critical part that aims to work in the process of a public administrative procedure, it is directly related to a more effective job performance function that is primarily related to a strong and crucial indicator as a critical part of decision functions aimed at objectively configuring, developing, and promoting functions and missions, through which the purpose of contributing to the eventual and final improvement is achieved.
