Resumen
The present study focused on a type of basic research, with a descriptive - correlational level, whose design corresponded to the documentary analysis of reports and historical technical reports of the national service of meteorology and hydrology (SENAMHI) and the association of palm producers. oil company in the province of Alto Amazonas (APROPADALA). The general objective was “Determine the relationship between climate change and the yield of oil palm, in the district of Yurimaguas”; for this, historical temperature data (°C), Rainfall (mm) and the yield of fresh fruit bunches (FBR) in Tn of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis. Jacq), of the last 17 years, period 2005-2021, in the Yurimaguas district. The normality test with the Shapiro-Wilks test, at a level of significance or α: 0.05, indicated that the data do not have a normal distribution; On the other hand, the Rho Spearman correlation test between the temperature values (°C)-rainfall (mm) and the oil palm FFR yield, show correlation coefficients (-0.597) and (-0.292) respectively; Likewise, the WILCOXON hypothesis test indicated a p-value of: 0.00029305, being less than 0.01; With this we can ensure that there is a correlation between the total annual yield of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) of oil palm (Tn) with the temperature and the total annual rainfall (mm), in the period 2005-2021 in Yurimaguas, with 99% confidence, that is, climate change, influenced the yield of this crop.
