Resumen
This article offers an approach to the life of sculptor Diego Agnes, active in the Viceroyalty of Peru in the second half of the 17th century, through his documented work. In particular, this study expands on the construction of the pulpit he crafted for the Metropolitan Cathedral of Lima through unpublished documents formerly kept in the defunct Metropolitan Chapter Archive of Lima, as well as the dispute that took place after its conclusion in 1669.
