Resumen
Nodular hidradenoma is a rare benign adnexal skin tumor with a variable clinical presentation and the ability to mimic both benign and malignant neoplasms, making its diagnosis challenging. We present the report of a patient with a nodular hidradenoma located over a cesarean section scar, an unusual presentation that raises questions about its pathogenesis. The possible relationship between scar tissue and tumor development is discussed, considering mechanisms such as locus minoris resistentiae and the concept of the immunocompromised district, which may explain local susceptibility to secondary skin diseases. This case highlights the importance of including nodular hidradenoma in the differential diagnosis of cystic lesions, especially when they appear over scars.
