New subspecies in Passiflora lobbii (Passifloraceae) from Cajamarca Department, Peru

Resumen

Passiflora lobbii subsp. abbreviata Esquerre is described as a new subspecies in P. lobbii by presenting smaller dimensions in terms of vegetative habit, flowers, fruits, as well as the presence and characteristics of the nectaries on the leaf, and a distribution in the center of Cajamarca Department. Its affinity with related taxa is discussed and its histological description in stem and leaves is also presented. © Los autores.
