Resumen

Neurotechnological advances, through the application of Brain-Computer Interfaces, are revolutionizing the treatment of many diseases; however, under the influence of transhumanist and/or posthumanist currents, they also represent, in some cases, a threat to dignity, nature, and human rights. This research, through an analysis based on the principles of personalist bioethics, establishes the recognition of the socalled “Neurorights” as a demand for justice. The balance and symmetry in relationships among the parties involved in these advances should stem from the acknowledgment of equal human dignity, which should be the protection to be considered.
