Resumen
We present a compact breast phantom platform for dielectric characterization from 1 to 8 GHz. A low permittivity resin backbone contains morphology guided cavities filled with liquid tissue mimics. The resin provides a flat seating plane for an open ended coaxial probe, controlled normal force, constant geometry, and optional sealing to avoid evaporation, bubbles, and poor geometric control. Target bands for fat, gland, skin, and tumor classes come from our prior ex vivo database. The workflow using Open-Short-Load (OSL) calibration at the probe aperture, temperature and force checks, and triplicate reseats. Results show good tracking of the real permittivity across the band and preservation of tumor ordering. Anchor deviations at 1, 3, 6, and 8 GHz meet a practical 10 percent goal for baseline tissues. A biopsy slot ensures repeatable placement with fixed depth and lateral alignment. The database stores raw S11, derived permittivity curves, anchor values, and quality assurance flags.
