Resumen
In consideration of evolving educational requirements and the global historical backdrop, educational platforms such as Moodle emerge as a viable option for ensuring educational continuity. The purpose of this study was to ascertain students’ perceptions of Moodle’s usefulness in distant education at the Jorge Basadre Grohmann National University in Peru. The study was descriptive in nature and using a hypothetical-inductive methodology. The data collecting approach used a Likert scale. The findings indicated a favorable assessment of the platform’s efficacy across all aspects, with 61.54 % evaluating it as excellent and 28.67 % rating it as very good. The findings indicate that the Moodle virtual platform is an appropriate scenario for promoting a participatory and collaborative environment through the use of technological tools; in addition to promoting self-evaluation, critical thinking, and actively contributing to academic-professional training.
