Resumen
The manufacturing industry optimizes its large-scale production processes by developing methodologies that streamline its processes. The objective of this work is to reduce the time of the manufacturing process of vehicle safety accessories of the company Romer SAC through the design, modeling and simulation using BPM. The proposal covers the life cycle of the BPM methodology starting with the discovery of the process in the organization, identifying and analyzing the processes so that, based on the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as molding time, number of orders, material cutting time, welding time, a deep data analysis is performed to establish a prototype for the improvement of the manufacturing process. Finally, the simulation is performed to obtain the results of the To-Be prototype of the improvement. The results show that the process time was reduced from the minimum time of 54 minutes used in the As-Is process to 35.62 minutes used in the To-Be process, which is an improvement over the previous model.
