Resumen

The development of mobile applications has become popular worldwide due to ease of use and accessibility to the general public. This is where multiplatform development frameworks find their value and generate a growing trend in the scientific community. This motivated the present systematic literature review, which presents the results of the most relevant research retrieved through a systematic review methodology, allowing for the determination of the most significant works. This systematic review analyzed 79 articles collected from scientific databases, determining Flutter as the most widely used framework at 31.65% and with the highest growth over the last 5 years. It was also found that the field of medicine is the most commonly used area, accounting for 40.51% in the development of mobile applications.
