Resumen
Among the objectives sought to be achieved in the country's 2050 national agenda is the development of innovations that contribute to energy sustainability and savings in electricity consumption. This research aims to summarize this goal. A method based on genetic algorithms has been developed that allows calculating the number of optimal luminaires, their price and the total electrical power consumed, improving energy efficiency and lighting comfort inside buildings following the electrical installations section of the National Regulations. Peruvian Buildings (RNE). The investigation is divided into two parts. In the first part, a state of the art was carried out that shows the main contributions in research on energy sustainability and background on the calculation of indoor luminaires. In the second, a method based on genetic algorithms is shown, an artificial intelligence algorithm that seeks to optimize the calculation of luminaires. The results confirm optimal efficiency in electrical consumption and energy savings in interior lighting.
