Resumen

This paper offers a metalexicographic analysis (description of the macrostructure —components of the body of the dictionary— and the microstructure —components of the lexicographic article—) about the Diccionario de peruanismos: El habla castellana del Perú (DP 2009) [Dictionary of Peruvianisms: The Spanish Speech of Perú], mainly of an encyclopedic nature. To this end, through a qualitative research of descriptive scope, the analysis of all the lexicographic components found in the DP 2009 is studied in-depth. The result of this work allows us to observe both the metalexicographic reflection and the lexical-cultural and diverse perspective that exists in the Peruvian territory, which have been documented in the DP 2009 from written and oral sources, and even from the record of some words that are used outside Peru. For the development of this work, the lexicographic information has been cited as it has been recorded in the DP 2009. It is hoped that this analysis can serve as a guide for future metalexicographic analyses and dictionary elaborations.
