Mathematical Methodologies for Teaching Principles and Functionality of Quantum Computer in Physics-Based Courses

Nieto-Chaupis H. · 2026 IEEE/ACIS 24th International Conference on Software Engineering Research, Management and Applications, SERA 2026 (2026) · DOI: 10.1109/sera69989.2026.11618586

Resumen

The imminent massification of quantum computers in next five-years period might to demand a substantial change in curricula of engineering programs strongly related to electronics and computers. It clearly will create diverse challenges to lectures and instructors. This expected change would be specifically concentrated on the first two years of program by which students acquire basic formation of program in physics courses, for instance. This paper focuses just how physics-mathematics topics would be helpful for a first meet to principles behind the running of a quantum computer. Thus paper has paid attention to well-known harmonic oscillator. It is introduced adequately mathematical properties of quantum formalism that are linked to a realistic functionality of a quantum computer. Under this view, an algebra is derived from a fictitious Hamiltonian that can be modeled by creation and annihilation operators.
