Resumen

Technology transfer in agroindustry is shaped by the circulation of scientific knowledge among researchers, institutions, and countries. In Latin America, these relationships remain uneven, which may limit the diffusion of innovations across agroindustrial value chains. This study applies Social Network Analysis (SNA) to examine citation networks associated with agroindustry-related research in Peru, Colombia, and Mexico. Bibliometric records retrieved from Scopus for the period 2000-2024 were organized into three analytical levels: authors, organizations, and countries. Degree centrality, betweenness centrality, clustering coefficient, density, and network diameter were used to identify influential actors, bridging positions, and cohesion patterns. The results indicate that knowledge circulation is concentrated around a reduced group of authors, institutions, and countries. The organizational layer shows greater fragmentation than the author and country networks, suggesting weaker institutional articulation in the citation structure. These differences reveal collaboration capacities and structural gaps that may affect the dissemination of agroindustrial knowledge. The study provides evidence for strengthening institutional linkages, promoting cross-country collaboration, and orienting funding strategies toward more balanced technology transfer networks in the Latin American agroindustrial sector.
