Resumen
The main objective of the present study is to determine the main factors that influence the management of academic processes and how this in turn influences student satisfaction in a private university that implements the competency model. A questionnaire is developed where the perception of 248 university senior students is evaluated. An analysis of structural equations is performed to determine the impact of the subprocesses defined in the management of academic processes, as well as the impact of this in student satisfaction. The results show that all dimensions have a significant influence, with p-values less than 0.001, except for the dimension of academic infrastructure. Based on these results, it is concluded that student satisfaction is influenced by the management of academic processes and this in turn is mainly influenced by teaching management and the management of the academic program in the context of a university that uses a competence-based model. © (2025), (Centro de Informacion Tecnologica).
