Resumen
The development of technologies for lunar habitability requires an integrated approach combining innovation, commercial strategies and international collaboration. In Latin America, we are driving the first joint business initiative for lunar exploration and settlement, integrating the design of optimized modular habitats, the development of life-support technologies and the implementation of analogue missions in terrestrial environments. Our business model seeks to validate and commercialize space technologies through Earth-applicable projects such as 3D printing construction, adaptation of lunar materials for sustainable architecture and development of habitability simulations in extreme environments. Through strategic alliances with academic institutions and industry, we promote the formation of an aerospace innovation ecosystem in the region. As a first step, we are developing a multifunctional module for lunar exploration focused in the lunar region Marius Hills, taking advantage of its lava tubes as a natural protection and resource source. In parallel, we are formalising partnerships to generate analogous missions within the region, which will serve as a platform to test technologies, train crews and generate applied knowledge, seeking to promote the advancement of aerospace research through investment, training and collaboration opportunities, ensuring a key role in the development of self-sustaining extraterrestrial habitats.
