Resumen
One of the biggest problems in the health sector with respect to patients and which is the cause of many diseases is the high degree of excess lipids in the different areas of the human body. Excess fat can accumulate in non-visible internal areas and in areas under the skin. In view of this, there is a need to find an effective method to reduce the accumulated adipose tissue in the human body in areas where it is difficult to combat it. Currently, there is a high degree of people with obesity and overweight problems, problems that in turn generate various cardiovascular, metabolic and even psychological conditions with greater suffering in adolescents, which leads to low self-esteem, stress, depression, anxiety, as well as bulimia and anorexia. In spite of the existence of treatments for the reduction of adipose tissue, many of these methods are usually expensive and even risky for the patient's health, due to the invasive way in which they are performed. Therefore, the objective of this research work is to design a device which by means of electrical stimulation is able to reduce the accumulation of adipose tissue in a non-invasive way, being low cost and equally effective, which at the same time can be used in a personal way, that is to say, easily applied by the patient, without running any risk. This would meet a great demand that corresponds to those low-income people who have obesity problems and cannot afford a particular treatment.
