Resumen
The behavior of a low-concentration solar photovoltaic prototype using mirrors is evaluated experimentally, comparing its energy performance with a system specifically oriented toward sunrise and sunset. The objective is to improve the performance of the system in situations of low solar irradiance (sunrise and sunset). The prototype, consisting of 20 W solar panels, was designed, implemented, and monitored; voltage, current, and power measurements were recorded under different irradiance conditions and reflector angles. The results indicate an increase in output power in low concentration conditions compared to a conventional panel, and the technical and economic feasibility of orienting the panels at sunrise and sunset is discussed, all with the aim of improving photovoltaic production in these conditions.
