Resumen
This research includes knowledge management as a driving strategy in firefighting institutions with a disciplinary regime, representing a reference point where leaders are involved in projects to create new knowledge, and capture ideas that facilitate the increase of creative and innovative people, being able to enhance their skills. The methodology is close to interpretive phenomenology, for which three key informants were interviewed. Likewise, the discourses were codified, analyzed and contrasted among themselves to generate a hermeneutic framework. The main findings show that knowledge management through transformational leadership can benefit firefighting institutions with a disciplinary regime to achieve their institutional objectives.
