Resumen

Forensic linguistics deals with the study of the interface of language and law (Gibbons y Turell, 2008). Among its research areas is the study of judicial language, which includes, among other things, the study of testimonies and inquires in the preliminary investigation process. In Peru, forensic linguistic expert reports focus on voice homologation; however, textual-discursive expert reports on testimonies from complainants are increasingly required. Therefore, protocols or guides are needed to propose and evaluate methodologies and theories that complement traditional studies of the discursive genre of judicial testimony. The purpose of this work is to develop a protocol for forensic linguistic analysis of testimonies, which are sometimes expressed textually as stories and other times, as answers in interrogations conducted by prosecutors, police officers and psychologists. To this end, we present a theoretical discussion from the perspective of text linguistics, semantics, and pragmatics, and provide examples of seven reports of testimonies made between 2021 and 2024 on cases of sexual harassment, rape, and passive bribery. The proposal considers the following aspects: the textual, contextual and interactional dimensions. © Los autores.
