Resumen

This work presents JONd, a mobile application developed for the calculation of Judd–Ofelt (JO) parameters of Nd3+-doped glasses and crystals. Built using Spring Boot (Java 11), the application features an integrated front- and back-end architecture designed for ease of use and computational efficiency. JONd facilitates the determination of key spectroscopic parameters - including the JO intensity parameters (Ω2, Ω4, Ω6), radiative transition probabilities, branching ratios, and radiative lifetimes - directly from user-provided absorption and emission spectra. The application's performance was validated by comparing its results with those obtained via traditional JO analysis and values reported in the literature, showing excellent agreement. For Q100 phosphate glass, the extracted JO parameters were Ω2 = 5.19 × 10−20 cm2, Ω4 = 1.92 × 10−20 cm2, and Ω6 = 5.29 × 10−20 cm2, while for low-silica calcium aluminosilicate (LSCAS) glass, values were Ω2 = 6.03 × 10−20 cm2, Ω4 = 2.11 × 10−20 cm2, and Ω6 = 4.28 × 10−20 cm2. These results confirm the reliability of the mobile tool, which provides a fast, accurate, and accessible solution for rare-earth spectroscopic analysis.
