Resumen

Job satisfaction is a key measure of employees’ well-being and quality of life, influenced by factors like interpersonal relationships, work environment, conditions, job position, and promotion opportunities. The objective is to determine the level of job satisfaction among employees of a company in central Lima. This study was conducted using a quantitative approach and a cross-sectional descriptive design. The population consisted of employees of a company located in central Lima. The sample comprised 240 employees. The technique employed was a survey, and the instrument used was the SL-SPC scale. For the analysis, IBM SPSS Statistics software was used. This study was approved by the university’s ethics committee, with formal approval documented in Ethics Committee Record No. 082, Code 104-24. Regarding employee satisfaction, the majority reported a high level of satisfaction at 40.4% (n=97), followed by a regular level of satisfaction at 42.1% (n=101), and a partial level of satisfaction at 17.5% (n=42). Concerning the physical and material conditions dimension, a moderate level predominated, accounting for 97.9% (n=235). Represents administrative policies, showing that 51% of participants reported a partial level of satisfaction. Regarding job satisfaction among employees, a high level of satisfaction predominated, followed by a moderate and a partial level of satisfaction. It is recommended to continue conducting research not only of a descriptive nature addressing job satisfaction but also employing correlational or experimental designs to identify the factors associated with low job satisfaction. This would enable the development of strategies aimed at enhancing occupational well-being. Copyright (c) 2026 The Authors.
