Resumen
This work presents the design, implementation, and experimental validation of a real-time monitoring module for electric vehicle chargers (EVSE), based on the ESP32 microcontroller and IoT technologies and the system acquires critical electrical variables (voltage, current, and power) through Modbus RTU communication over RS485 and integrates a DS18B20 sensor for thermal monitoring, the results showed that the system maintained stable data acquisition, recording voltages between 223-225 V and demonstrating an adequate dynamic response to state changes (no load/load), without interfering with charger operation. Additionally, consistency was verified between local visualization (TFT display) and remote visualization (web server), with real-time updates every 2 seconds and it is concluded that the solution is reliable, low-cost, and scalable, representing a viable alternative to improve supervision and operational efficiency in electric vehicle charging infrastructure..
